Dusting can be tedious but it can also be rewarding. Dusting can be a good time for reflection, it can also be dangerous. Some are more sensitive to dust than others, but all of us suffer from it to some extent or another—those of us that don’t notice have healthier defenses, and those of us that do notice have weaker ones.

There are almost always areas where dust builds up, mostly in unseen areas like on top of door jam ledges or on the top edges of electronics etc. Most of the time the only rule of where you might find dust in an otherwise clean home is that it’s above the eye line of average height people. I’m not proposing that we all go out and buy platform shoes…though that would be pretty funny. This simply something to keep in mind as you go about your everyday household cleaning.

Reasonable people understand that in the battle for a clean home, dusting of out of the way places sometimes has to yield to other higher priority tasks. Sometimes you need professional help too, it’s not easy to fit in everything in your life along with dusting too. Just like the battle for a clean home, the battle of life is more a game of balancing priorities than it is a flat out mad dash. So pace yourself, balance a bit, and look up a company that can clean your home in San Diego.

Cooking can be a real chore; but it can also be a lot of fun. While you’re cooking it is sometimes fun to listen to music or watch TV—though nothing too intense as to distract you from the task of actually cooking. As the pots simmer and the choice meats sizzle on the grill it’s also nice to have something cool and refreshing to drink as well. For the above reasons I really like to start cooking when I get home from work vs. cleaning the house or other chores that may come up.

I’ve known some cooks that love to taste and snack on their food as they’re cooking, others swear that they won’t let one morsel touch their lips until the table is set and the food is served. There are also two different views I’ve encountered about cleaning up as you cook. Some cooks insist that cleaning as you cook enhances the inspiration and even the taste of the food. Others have the view that they want to focus only on cooking and will pile dishes high in the sink right up till the end of the cooking project. I’ve noticed this preference carries over into their habits when it comes to house cleaning.

It’s not uncommon for those that are meticulous about cleaning as they cook to be quite diligent to clean up after themselves right away, whereas those with more laid back tendencies tend to let the mess pile up. For the later you may find that hiring someone in the field of maid services would be beneficial. Your dinners may even taste better—if nothing else you’ll have more time to savor them.
